A good ending to your journey
You have now worked with young people in Greenland, the Faroe Islands, and Denmark. You have read texts, watched videos, talked together, and answered questions. Now you will use everything you have learned.
Part 1 – Video interview
Time: 1–2 lessons
What will you do?
You will work in pairs and create a video interview. Use your phone to record the interview so you can save it. You are welcome to share it with each other, the class, or your family afterwards. You take turns: asking questions – being interviewed. You will use the same questions as were used in the videos in Themes 1–5. (The questions are below, but they are also available for print.
Interview questions
1. Everyday life
- School: What do you like most about school? Is there anything you find exciting or challenging?
- Free time: What do you do in your free time? Do you have a hobby, a sport or something else you enjoy?
- Traditions: Is there something unique about being young where you live that you think is important to share?
2. Dreams and challenges
- How do you imagine your life in 10 years? (education, job, family, where you live)
- What do you dream about working with?
- What challenges do you think young people will face in the future?
3. Nature and climate
- What does nature mean to you?
- Do you spend a lot of time outdoors?
- What do you think about climate change?
3. Identity and community
- What does the Kingdom of Denmark mean to you? Do you think about it in your everyday life?
- What do you think young people in the three countries have in common?
- Is there something you would like to know about young people in Greenland, the Faroe Islands or Denmark?
Recording with your phone
- Hold the phone horizontally
- Keep the image steady
- Record in a quiet place
- Check the sound – it should be clear
- Use natural light if possible
A good interview
- Ask one question at a time
- Listen and give time for answers
- Look at each other – not only at the screen
- Ask follow-up questions if something is interesting
- Be curious and respectful
Part 2 – Work on your presentations
Time: 5–6 lessons

You can work: alone, in pairs or in a small group.

- What do young people have in common?
- How can we reduce prejudices between each other?
- What is important in a good youth life?
- How can we understand each other better?
- What can we learn from each other?

- Use examples from your answers, videos and texts

- Keep it simple – your message is most important
